The Fiber Internet plan you choose should depend on a few factors. The number of devices and people using the internet in your home and what those users do on the web correlate with the speed you need. If you live in a home with many connected devices and users, consider a faster speed so everyone can do what they love with ease. We offer several plans including Fiber 500, Fiber 1 Gig, Fiber 2 Gig, Fiber 5 Gig and our ridiculously fast Fiber 7 Gig. If Fiber is not yet in your area, Frontier Internet may be an option offering a basic connection to stream, surf and shop.
No. There is no annual commitment requirement for any Frontier internet plans. Plans offered with an optional gift card do require a 1-year commitment if you wish to redeem the card.
No. You can use the internet as much as you want every month with no extra fees.
To install Frontier Fiber, we may need to visit your property ahead of time to prep for the installation. Many homes need us to run a fiber-optic cable from the street to the home, but you don't need to be home for this step.
Ahead of installation, you can download the MyFrontier app to modify your appointment date and time, estimate your tech's arrival time and communicate with your tech.
When your tech arrives, they'll determine the best location for your router and run necessary wiring. If you've never had Fiber, your tech will need to install a piece of equipment in your home called the Optical Network Terminal (or ONT).
